Congrats on your upcoming wedding and thanks for thinking of us! Whether it’s your “first dance” with your husband, dances with the parents, or the now-popular wedding party routine – we can choreograph the music close your heart and make you look great dancing to it!
We offer several options, from 5 to 15 lessons, depending on how much time you need to learn and how good you want to look! Some of our wedding couples are doing “Dirty-Dancing”-style lifts; some just want something simple and smooth – it’s up to you! We’ve earned our reputation for being great wedding couple coaches, but remember, we want you to look great and feel comfortable on your special day. Please contact us as soon as you can to get started! You also can get an introductory lesson – to meet your instructor, get the feel of the studio and start dancing – for free, if we can schedule it in the near future. Be warned: many of our wedding couples continue to take lessons after the big day – as dancing is a great way for couples to spend time together! Please keep dance lessons in mind for your wedding gift registry! Pricing Wedding A package: includes choreography, 5 private lessons, group lessons every evening, practice parties and a DVD of your routine. $400.
Wedding B package: includes choreography, 10 private lessons, group lessons every evening, practice parties and a DVD of your routine. $800 Wedding C package: includes choreography, 15 private lessons, group lessons every evening, practice parties and a DVD of your routine. $1200. Wedding What-to-Do’s 1. Pick your song! This is very important. It doesn’t have to be sappy or hokey, because you want it to be a song you actually LIKE. You’ll be listening to it a lot as you practice! 2. Examine the possibilities. There’s a ton of dancing at weddings and lots of opportunity to show off your moves. Do you want help with just the “first dance?” Or are you interested in help with the father-daughter, or mother-son dances? Do you want your wedding party to jump start the reception with a surprise dance routine? All possibilities where we shine at Fred Astaire! 3. Call us! We can set up a Wedding Introduction lesson for you to meet your instructor, tour the studio and start dancing! There is no obligation to you for this service. 4. Give yourself LOTS of time to prepare. We know that wedding time is crunch-time in your world, and learning a bunch of new material on deadline is not the ideal way to feel or look comfortable dancing together. Give yourselves some time, and remember we’ll videotape you so you can practice at home. 5. Practice dancing in shoes similar to your wedding shoes. 6. Dance lessons make great shower gifts and are fabulous on a wedding registry! Add us!
