Dancing with the Stars Orlando Trip

For this years Disney Christmas Day Parade, Dancing With The Stars professional ballroom dancer, Tony Dovolani, was chosen to choreograph a ballroom dance number.  Tony used several Dancing With The Stars dancers and 300 professional ballroom dance teachers from Fred Astaire Dance Studios throughout the United States.  Tony is the current USA and World Rhythm Champion and a Fred Astaire Dance Studio instructor from New York.  At Tony’s request, the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Bloomfield Hills sent 6  professional instructors to Orlando in order to dance on this nationally televised special.  Instructors, Karla Pinet, Joe Coombs, Olga Agafonova and Leonid Sidorenko along with owners Evan Mountain and Lada Reschikova left for Orlando on Wednesday evening, November 28th. The rehearsal was on Thursday and taping on Friday, November 30th.  The Bloomfield Hills Instructors were chosen to perform a Swing routine around Disney's Cinderella Castle.  The show aired on Christmas Day with hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa .
